COMPETITION SCHEDULE

We are aware that many of you have questions regarding schedule and which categories will perform on which day. Unfortunatelly, we are not able to give any information until after the registration of the teams has been done (end of May).

We expect a large number of teams to participate in the ICU Europeans 2024. Cheer as a sport is growing in Europe, which we applaude! The challenge for us is to provide a best possible schedule, taking into consideration the whole organization behind ICU Europeans as well as the number of teams. We kindly ask teams to book their stay from Thursday, also to give the athletes a best possible preparation to the championship.

PRE-COMPETITION PRACTICE

It is possible to book training at the venue from Tuesday June 25th to Friday June 28th. Teams competing June 28th will not be able to book practice this day.

Each time slot is 30 minutes. Teams may book up to 1 – one – hour coherent practice. The team may have more than 1 hour practice, depending on how early they arrive. Please book you preferred practice slots, and we will keep you updated when we have all the bookings scheduled.  

There are no costs for pre-competition practice at our venue, however we will charge a fee of NOK 250 for «no show, no notice». The fee can be waived if the team has given notice in advance of their absence.

Please fill this form out several times to book several slots. Max 2 slots coherent. You will be notified if we must move or change your practice time.

SIDE EVENTS

To ensure a great a championship we invite all teams and delegates to take part in our side events:

Tuesday and Wednesday 25th and 26th June: Arrivals and Pre-competition Practice

We welcome teams from early in the week and will have pre-competition practice slots available both Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be possible to book food packages for these days with lunch, snacks and dinner.

Thursday June 27th: Culture Exchange

We expect more teams arriving this day and will continue with the pre-competition training. In the afternoon we invite you to a social gathering with culture exchange at the beach area, and today’s dinner will be a BBQ held in beautiful surroundings. The event is open for everyone who is registered to participate in the championships, but the BBQ is only for those who has ordered this before the event. You will not be able to pay on site for the BBQ.

Friday June 28th: Outdoor Movie Night

The first competition day starts today, and the Opening Ceremony will be held in Conference Center South (the competition arena). For all teams finished this day, we will have the Award Ceremony. For teams not competing this day, pre-competition practice will be available during daytime, the only exception will be during the Opening Ceremony.

After the competition we invite you to an outdoor movie night at the Festival Square. This event is open for everyone on site and is free of charge.

Saturday June 29th: Outdoor Movie Night

We offer chill zones and small activities like mega chess, beach volleyball and flag football during the day, in addition to live stream from the competition outdoor at the Festival Square. In the evening, we repeat the outdoor movie night with another classic movie.

Sunday June 30th: Closing Party

This last day of the championships, teams will have their award ceremony after the competition is finished. We will know our European Champions of 2024!

After the award ceremony we invite all teams to a BBQ and closing party at the Festival Square with background music, dancing and hang outs.

This event is a pre-booked event, and it is not possible to join the event without a booking.
