Volunteers

Over 70 volunteers have joined us so far, and we will now look through all applications and notify everyone that has already applied. In the case of the event needing more volunteers, we will re-open this application form.

We need different skills to cover several work areas during our event. Please note that you are not considered a volunteer before you get a confirmation from us. Our volunteers are needed from Wednesday June 26th – July 1st. We need the most of our volunteers during the weekend during the competition.

  • You have to be born in 2008 or earlier to volunteer.
  • Volunteers are entitled to free accomodation with breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner included, at a place designated by Oslofjord Convention Center.
  • Those who volunteer will get all staff clothing necessary provided.
  • Everyone who wants to volunteer need to fill out our form to apply for a position. Click «Join Us» at the top of this site to let ut know that you are interested to volunteer!

Area Safeguarding

Help us make our Cheer Town safe! We need volunteers that can help us create a safe and positive environment with organizing people flow, administrate ticket lines, guide cars to parking, guide spectators and teams to their designated areas etc. If you are service minded and like to talk to people, join our team!

Personnel and VIP service

Join us in making our event the best one for every delegation, judge, staff and volunteer. If you like to ensure good service and are other poeples greatest cheerleader – let ut know and join our team!

Equipments, clean-up and logistics

Help our athletes perform at the top of their game by making sure the warm-up and competition floor is clean, that drinking water is available and that the floors are taped and secured. Volunteers in this area might also help out with technical issues and other logistics necessary. Do you like ad-hoc-jobs? Join our team!

Exhibition and media service

Make sure our pop-up stores and exhibitions are fully equipped with electricity, cables, tables etc. Help our media team when needed!

Emergency crew

Be a part of our small but important emergency crew which is our first responding team when something happens. You will not always know when you are needed, but the team will work in shift and always have someone available (also during the night). Join our team if you can easily adjust, operate a radio and communicate loud and clear.

Environment and sustainability crew

We want to focus on our environment and take action towards a sustainable event. Do you have experience and/or education from this topic? Let us know and be an important part of our project group.

Activity manager / instructor

Help us organizing our activities on site apart from the competition. Do you know yoga? Or climbing? Or gaming? Let ut know, and become one of our activity managers!
